Residential Care Professional

As a Support Worker with CV-Library, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a residential care setting.
The ideal candidate will be physically fit and able to move and handle disabled young people, possess experience working within a school environment, and hold relevant certifications such as Makaton training and a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare.
A valid UK driving license is required, and an Enhanced Child & Adult DBS check will be mandatory for this position.
We operate on a 12-week temp-to-perm basis, with shifts booked weekly. The successful candidate will undergo an enhanced DBS check, ID checks, and supply good professional references as part of the registration process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students in both formal and informal learning environments
- Demonstrate a high standard of care at all times
- Recognize and respect service users' choices, rights, and decisions
- Work collaboratively as part of a team of support workers
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required
Requirements:
- Physically fit to move and handle disabled young people
- Experience working within a school environment with SEN students

- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare

- GCSE in English and Maths A to C
