Exceptional Care Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Children’s Home Registered Manager to lead our team in providing exceptional care to children and young people. As a key member of our Senior Management Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the home meets the highest standards of quality and excellence.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the home, including staff management, resident care, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment. You will work closely with Human Resources to manage employee relations, ensure compliance with employment legislation, and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of care plans to meet individual resident needs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective communication and teamwork
  • Manage and develop staff to achieve high-quality care outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required by regulatory bodies

Requirements

  • 3 years’ experience in residential childcare, preferably in a senior management role
  • Ability to commute or relocate to Maidstone, Kent
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and quality standards

Benefits

  • Occupancy Bonus: up to £750 per quarter
  • Registration Bonus: £1000
  • OFSTED Rating Bonus: £500 for Good, £1000 for Outstanding
  • Annual Leave: 25 days + Bank Holidays (33 days in total)
  • Salary increase: up to £5000 per year on top of basic salary
