Job Title: Mental Health Specialist

At Tripod Partners, we are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Specialist to join our Fylde and Wyre CAMHS team. This full-time role involves working face-to-face with young people to provide essential mental health support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and offer support to young individuals.
  • Develop comprehensive care plans, including hospital discharge plans, and adjust risk management strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate closely within the team and with external organizations to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Refer young people to relevant services and make safeguarding referrals when necessary.
  • Provide effective support to young people dealing with various mental health and wellbeing challenges.
  • Ensure adherence to CAMHS and children's child protection protocols.
Position Details:
  • Location: Blackpool
  • Work Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Contract Duration: ASAP
  • Rate: £25.00 per hour
  • Pay Type: Umbrella or PAYE available
Requirements:
  • A qualified Social Worker or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with relevant experience.
  • Experience in CAMHS and children's child protection work.
  • Strong assessment, care planning, and risk management skills.
  • Ability to work face-to-face with young people and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
