Job Description

This CPN CAMHS role involves managing a defined caseload and providing assessment and therapy services to children and families. The successful candidate will have a degree in Mental Health Nursing or equivalent and experience working as a Mental Health Nurse.

Main Duties:

  • Manage a defined caseload using specialist knowledge and clinical reasoning.
  • Assess and treat children with mental health problems, especially those at risk of self-harm.
  • Undertake risk assessment and management for individual children and families.
  • Act as advocate to facilitate views and choices expressed by children, families, and communities.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mental Health Nursing or equivalent.
  • Experience working as a Mental Health Nurse.
  • NMC Registration.
