Job Overview

This full-time position is responsible for the operational management of Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy staff within the stroke team, ensuring effective supervision, appraisal, training, and general support.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the provision of expert therapy services across both hyper-acute and acute stroke units, with a focus on evidence-based practice and local/national stroke service objectives.
  • Develop and implement treatment programs that maximize patient rehabilitation potential.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient progress and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements:
  • Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Completed or working towards postgraduate study in a relevant area and senior-level experience in this specialist field.
  • Valid UK driving license.
Salary Range:

This role comes with a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, reflecting the expertise and qualifications required for this challenging role.
