About the Role

This is a crucial role within the school, responsible for leading the attendance strategy and ensuring students attend regularly.

Key Duties
  • Lead the attendance strategy to address absenteeism and improve student outcomes
  • Engage with parents, carers, and external agencies to support student attendance and wellbeing
  • Conduct regular monitoring and evaluation to inform attendance strategies
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience in leading attendance initiatives and improving student outcomes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
  • Commitment to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people
Salary and Benefits
  • Salary range £33,366 - £37,938 (all year round) or £28,805 - £32,752 (term time only)
  • 36 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 4:00pm and Friday 8:00am - 3:45pm
