About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineer to deliver high-quality solutions to long-standing clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing technical alternatives, crafting design philosophy documents, and generating comprehensive design documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assessing technical alternatives to determine optimal solutions
  • Crafting C&I design philosophy documents and Basis of Design Documents
  • Generating comprehensive design documentation, encompassing system architecture and safety assessments
  • Ensuring the specification and integrity of C&I equipment designs
  • Addressing concerns related to obsolescence and equipment lifecycle
  • Serving as the primary liaison for clients and representing the company in meetings

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum 5 years of experience in a C&I Engineer role
  • A degree or equivalent qualifications
  • Extensive experience in regulated industries, preferably nuclear
  • Proficiency in relevant standards and regulations

Benefits and Salary

This role offers a competitive salary of up to £65,000 per annum, along with a generous package including an 8% matched pension, 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), company bonus, and flexible hybrid working options.
