About the Role

Are you a seasoned engineer with experience in designing and delivering control systems for critical infrastructure projects? Do you have a strong understanding of regulated industries, particularly nuclear?
We're seeking an experienced Senior C&I Engineer to join our team at JAM Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing technical alternatives, crafting design philosophy documents, and generating comprehensive design documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver solutions to long-standing clients across the UK's nuclear sector.
  • Assess technical alternatives to determine optimal solutions.
  • Craft C&I design philosophy documents and Basis of Design Documents.
  • Generate comprehensive design documentation, encompassing system architecture and safety assessments.
  • Ensure the specification and integrity of C&I equipment designs.
  • Address concerns related to obsolescence and equipment lifecycle.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll need a minimum 5 years of experience as a C&I Engineer, a degree or equivalent qualifications, and extensive experience in regulated industries, preferably nuclear. Proficiency in relevant standards and regulations is also essential.

This role comes with a competitive salary of up to £65,000, a generous package including an 8% matched pension, 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), company bonus, and extremely flexible hybrid working options.
