Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Business Manager to join our Farm Division at CVS Group Plc. This is a newly created role that will play a key part in building our CVS Farm Vets NI brand and driving business growth in Northern Ireland.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the sales and administrative functions of our practices in Northern Ireland, working closely with our Senior Clinical Director and other Regional Business Managers across the UK. Key objectives include:

  • Developing a deep understanding of the farming and veterinary industries, identifying opportunities to grow and improve our service and sales provision.
  • Building our CVS Farm Vets NI brand through effective marketing and stakeholder engagement, including social media and traditional platforms.
  • Coordinating a regional approach to sales, focusing on preventative medicines and proactive approaches to improving livestock health and production.
  • Managing a team of professionals to deliver Advanced Breeding, TB Testing, and Veterinary Consultancy Services.
  • Engaging with external stakeholders, including clients, buying groups, suppliers, and industry bodies, to build relationships and develop opportunities.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a passion for the agricultural industry and a strong understanding of the veterinary environment. Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in sales, marketing, or business development, preferably in the veterinary or agricultural sectors.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and develop solutions.
