Job Summary:

As a Rail Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the planning, processing, maintenance, and production of railway assets and equipment. This position requires proactive actions and decisions to avoid railway asset, equipment, process, and systems failures within your area of influence.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, process, maintain, and produce railway assets and equipment.
  2. Contribute to operational processes with rail-specific input.
  3. Take proactive actions and decisions to prevent railway asset, equipment, process, and systems failures.
  4. Identify areas for rail system improvement and collaborate with the organization to implement changes.
  5. Support or supervise individuals and teams in delivering rail engineering and rail system tasks within designated disciplines.
  6. Share specialist knowledge across the organization to ensure the impact of changes on the railway is identified.
