About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Open Dialogue Practitioner to join our team at Kent and Medway NHS & Social Care Partnership Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in promoting and facilitating the Peer Supported Open Dialogue service (POD) within our organization.

Main Responsibilities

  • Co-facilitate training sessions for others to promote POD
  • Work alongside pod-trained staff and trainees to support service users and their social networks
  • Integrate the new care model throughout KMPT
  • Participate in promoting POD and supporting service users and their social networks from crisis to recovery

Requirements

  • Trained and registered mental health worker (nurse, OT, therapist) with experience in Open Dialogue training
  • Minimum of 2 years post-registration experience or experience working within an Open Dialogue team
  • Experience of prioritizing casework and allocation/delegation of tasks to others
  • Liaising with various stakeholders, both internal and external to organizations
  • Awareness of clinical governance and its relationship to clinical effectiveness and patient safety and patient experience
