About the Opportunity

An exciting role has emerged for an Open Dialogue Practitioner to drive the development of the Peer Supported Open Dialogue service within Kent and Medway NHS & Social Care Partnership Trust.

This position entails promoting POD, co-facilitating training sessions, and collaborating with pod-trained staff and trainees. Key responsibilities involve supporting service users and their social networks from crisis to recovery, integrating the new care model throughout KMPT, and prioritizing casework allocation/delegation tasks.

Requirements

  • You will be a trained and registered mental health worker (nurse, OT, therapist) with open dialogue training recognized by KMPT or currently undergoing such training.
  • A minimum of 2 years post-registration experience in working alongside service users and their social networks in crisis is essential, as well as understanding the importance of peer-supported work.
  • Prioritization of casework, delegation of tasks to others, liaising with stakeholders, awareness of clinical governance, and patient safety are crucial skills required for this position.
