We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Development Worker to join our team in Stevenage. As a key member of our Children's Team, you will play a vital role in supporting these children to lead happy, healthy, fun-filled lives.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing daily care support to ensure children are safe, healthy, and thriving
  • Encouraging child development through opportunities for learning and growth
  • Providing proactive support to engage children in play and activities that enhance their quality of life
  • Mentoring other support workers and supporting the manager

In return, you can expect a competitive salary of up to £24,752.00, guaranteed full-time hours, enhanced pay for weekends and bank holidays, 24/7 support for your health and mental wellbeing, pension benefits, great perks, and free ongoing training.

We require candidates with strong communication and interpersonal skills, patience, compassion, and a can-do attitude at all times. Previous experience working with children or adults with learning disabilities is essential. You will receive advanced training from our Training Academy to learn specialist skills in delivering high-quality support.
