About the Role

We are currently seeking a Children's Support Worker to join our team at our facility located between Cambridge & Stevenage. As a key member of our staff, you will work closely with our experienced team to provide personalized support and care to our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with personal care needs such as washing and getting ready for bed
  • Conducting regular checks throughout the night to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents
  • Ensuring that any medical needs are followed and implemented as required
  • Maintaining a safe and clean environment for our residents and colleagues
  • Performing light housekeeping duties during night shifts
What We Offer

As a valued member of our team, you will enjoy a competitive salary of £20 per hour, rising to £25 for night shifts worked, and an additional £1500 Welcome Bonus upon completion of your probationary period. You will also receive:

  • A 4-weekly rota pattern offering a stable and predictable schedule
  • An average of 40 hours per week, with flexible full-time or part-time shifts available
  • A paid DBS Check to ensure your safety and the safety of our residents
  • Funding to complete your Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, supporting your career development
  • 30 days holiday, including bank holidays, and life assurance & pension schemes for added security
  • A car lease scheme and bike-to-work scheme to support your commute and promote healthy living
Location and Environment

Our facility is situated conveniently between Cambridge and Stevenage, allowing for easy access by car or public transport.
