We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team at The Skills Coalition in Bolton. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional end-to-end service to our SME clients.

About the Role
  • You will provide outstanding client service, ensuring their needs are met promptly and effectively.
  • You will manage the entire broking process, including writing, renewing, and servicing policies.
  • You will build strong relationships with insurers, negotiating terms to secure the best outcomes for clients.
  • You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service and identify opportunities to enhance the client experience.
  • You will maintain data quality, handle invoicing, and adhere to compliance and regulatory standards.
  • You will stay up-to-date with industry knowledge and professional development.
Requirements
  • Solid technical knowledge of commercial insurance and broking processes.
  • Proven ability to deliver responsive, first-class client service.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Confidence using technology and software, including MS Office (Acturis experience is a bonus).
  • Strong understanding of FCA compliance rules and regulatory standards.
