Repairs Service Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Repairs Service Manager to oversee our in-house Repairs Services function. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a diverse team of trade operatives, ensuring the delivery of high-quality repair, maintenance, and refurbishment works.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and motivate a team of trade operatives to deliver repairs and maintenance services
- Monitor and control income and expenditure to ensure budgetary compliance
- Collaborate with colleagues to balance reactive and planned maintenance
- Diagnose and remediate building defects, ensuring compliance with tenancy agreements and statutory requirements
- Develop specifications and tenders for repair and maintenance works
- Utilize data and reports to monitor team performance and productivity
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment through effective health and safety practices
- Proven experience in managing a repairs function in social housing or a similar sector
- Strong budget management skills, with experience of managing large budgets
- Technical knowledge of repair and maintenance works, including reactive repairs
- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes
- Relevant technical qualification, such as an HND or HNC
- Annual salary: £57,378
