About the Job

We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated clinical psychologist to provide specialist clinical psychology services to adults with learning disabilities. The successful candidate will work alongside a multidisciplinary staff team, including psychiatry, behavioural specialists, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and dietetics, to enhance care and manage risk. You will be responsible for assessing, formulating, and intervening with clients across various community settings, and contributing to the development of the psychology service and wider team.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Provide specialist psychological assessments and interventions with clients who have learning disabilities and mental health needs or challenging behaviour
* Work closely with other healthcare professionals to enhance care and manage risk
* Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and supervision, sharing formulations to enhance psychologically based care and managing risk

Requirements and Qualifications

* Doctoral level training in clinical psychology, as accredited by the HCPC
* Registered with the Health & Care Professions Council as a practitioner psychologist under the appropriate domain

Salary and Benefits
