Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Quarry Supervisor to join our team at Raisby Quarry. The successful candidate will support the Quarry Manager in the safe and efficient management and operation of the Quarry, ensuring the smooth execution of production and extraction activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Quarry Manager in the management of production and extraction activities, troubleshooting technical problems, and overseeing planning of day-to-day operations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and health and safety inspections, demonstrating leadership in safety and contributing to our zero harm culture.
  • Perform administrative duties, including writing reports, updating records, procurement, and budget control.
  • Plan and organize work in a time-efficient fashion, ensuring the effective use of resources.
Requirements
  • Background in the extractive industry, with a strong focus on safety and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze problems, identify causes, and implement solutions.
  • Compliance with company policies and procedures, seeking approval for changes when necessary.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with awareness of the impact on others and the environment.
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to handle paperwork and administrative tasks.
  • Planning and organizing skills, with the ability to establish efficient courses of action.
