Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Quarry Supervisor to join our team at Raisby Quarry. The successful candidate will support the Quarry Manager in the safe and efficient management and operation of the quarry, ensuring the smooth execution of production and extraction activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Quarry Manager in the safe and efficient management and operation of the quarry.
  • Manage production and extraction activities, troubleshooting technical problems and overseeing planning of day-to-day operations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and health and safety inspections, demonstrating leadership in safety.
  • Perform administrative duties, including writing reports, updating records, procurement, and budget control.
  • Plan and organize work in a time-efficient fashion, ensuring high standards of productivity and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Background in the extractive industry, with a strong focus on safety and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze problems, identify causes, and implement solutions.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
