Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Quarry Supervisor to join our team at Raisby Quarry. The successful candidate will support the Quarry Manager in the safe and efficient management and operation of the quarry, ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Quarry Manager in the management of production and extraction activities, troubleshooting technical problems, and overseeing planning of day-to-day operations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and health and safety inspections, demonstrating leadership in safety and contributing to our zero-harm culture.
  • Perform administrative duties, including writing reports, updating records, procurement, and budget control.
  • Plan and organize work in a time-efficient fashion, ensuring the smooth operation of the quarry.
Requirements
  • Background in the extractive industry, with a strong focus on safety and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze problems, identify causes, and implement solutions.
  • Compliance with company policies and procedures, with a focus on adherence and approval.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with others.
  • Detail handling and planning and organizing skills, with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness.
