We are seeking a Quarry Supervisor to join our team at Raisby Quarry. The primary duty for this role will be to support the Quarry Manager with the safe and efficient management and operation of the Quarry. You will support the management of production and extraction activities, troubleshooting technical problems and overseeing planning of day-to-day operations in conjunction with other departments across site.

Safety is a key element of this role. You will conduct risk assessments and health and safety inspections and demonstrate leadership in safety. You will also be required to perform administrative duties, from writing reports and updating records to procurement and budget control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Quarry Manager with the safe and efficient management and operation of the Quarry.
  • Manage production and extraction activities, troubleshooting technical problems and overseeing planning of day-to-day operations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and health and safety inspections.
  • Perform administrative duties, including writing reports and updating records.

Requirements
  • Background in the extractive industry.
  • Familiarity with the extractive process.
  • Strong focus on safety and interpersonal skills.
