About the Role

Aon is seeking a Senior International Construction Broker to boost revenue and margin by identifying and capitalizing on new (re)insurance opportunities, as well as managing the needs of existing Aon clients within the International Construction division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver new reinsurance opportunities and increase revenue with existing clients.
  • Act as a Director within the broking team to provide specialist advice to the client and Aon Network client team.
  • Negotiate the best prices and market capacity.
  • On-going client satisfaction, retention, and profitability.
  • Lead Client Team(s) and project groups to deliver strategic growth initiatives, responses to competitive tenders, and complex, high-value deals.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for subject matter-specific issues both internally and externally.
  • Review and quality-check reinsurance documentation to ensure accuracy.
About You
  • Extensive experience in reinsurance broking or technical and analytical underwriting experience, including project and account management experience on large Construction accounts and large/mega onshore construction projects.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Ability to inspire commitment and action in others through strong communication skills.
  • Consideration of the underwriter's perspective to adapt broking approach.
  • Investment in Research & Development to find new opportunities/solutions to meet clients' needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
