About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Children's Mental Health Services (CAMHS) team. As the Head of Community Services, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve mental health outcomes for children and young people in Nottingham City.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Develop and manage the strategy and vision for CAMHS, ensuring effective promotion of the service and the Council's vision, values, aims, objectives, and priorities.
  2. Be accountable for delivering on CAMHS/Council plans and commissioned KPIs for each service, translating these into clear goals and objectives for employees to deliver positive outcomes for infants, children, young people, and families.
  3. Take a lead role in robust decision-making through the promotion of good governance, policy review, and effective options appraisals that balance financial risk and organisational ambitions and promises.
  4. Ensure robust clinical decision-making for each service, managing mental health and safeguarding risk through sound clinical supervision models.
  5. Lead the development and implementation of inclusive models of co-production, actively promoting and embedding Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion through all actions and in accordance with the organisation's EDI Strategy and objectives.
