About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Paediatric Nurse to join our team at Thornbury Community Services. As a Paediatric Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering bespoke care and support to young people with complex needs, enabling them to stabilise at home and achieve their personal goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to young people with complex needs, including those with Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans
- Conduct regular assessments and reviews to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients
- Communicate effectively with families and carers to ensure seamless care transitions
Requirements:
- Minimum 12 months of UK-based experience in Paediatric Nursing
- Recent experience in key skills such as Bag and Valve Mask via Ventilation, Nasal Pharyngeal Suctioning, Chest Physio- Percussion/Vibrations, Care and use of Gastrostomy, and Epilepsy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
