Thornbury Community Services is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Children's Complex Care Nurse to join our team. As a Children's Complex Care Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering bespoke care and support to young people with complex needs, enabling them to stabilize at home and achieve their personal goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to children with complex needs, including those with life-limiting genetic conditions and epilepsy.
- Work collaboratively with the client's family and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify the client's needs and develop strategies to meet those needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the client's healthcare team.
- Document all interactions and interventions in the client's medical record.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 12 months of UK-based experience as a Children's Nurse or Paediatric Nurse.
- Strong knowledge of child development and complex care needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full COVID-19 vaccination.
