Job Description:
To manage a project portfolio of race car parts within in-house work centers under the guidance of a Project Manager. Key responsibilities include detailed planning, task management, reconciliation of demand, capacity planning, decision-making, liaison with the supply chain, ownership of a project portfolio, and working with the Quality team to ensure risks are mitigated.
Key Responsibilities:
Detailed planning and task management, including loading of production routings and work orders.Reconciliation and management of demand in support of race, test, and development programs.Capacity planning in support of the make vs buy strategy.Liaison with the supply chain to support project delivery.Ownership and management of a project portfolio of work.Work with the Quality team to ensure project risks are mitigated.Requirements:
A degree qualified in a related discipline or equivalent experience is required. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the commercial side of low-volume small-batch manufacture, experience in a similar position within a high-precision manufacturing environment, preferably with metallics and composites. Continuous improvement techniques would be a distinct advantage.
