About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in electromechanical assembly and experience in box build manufacturing processes. As an Electromechanical Manufacturing Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting production teams, performing build, test, or inspection activities, and delivering production requirements by adhering to established instructions and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Skillful Support: Provide expertise to production teams in manufacturing activities.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform and prepare build, test, or inspection activities before and during product manufacturing.
  • Product Delivery: Deliver production requirements by adhering to established instructions and processes.
  • Electronic Assembly Inspection: Provide support for electronics assembly inspection.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain manufacturing documentation to ensure traceability.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and strive for zero defects in line with ISO9001 quality management standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Strong Foundation: Strong GCSE grades or equivalent in English and Maths.
  • Proficient Hand Soldering Skills: Proficient hand soldering skills, adhering to IPC-J-STD-001, IPC-610 & IPC-7711/7721 (Class 3).
  • Understanding Industry Standards: Understanding of industry standards and regulations to ensure safe operation of machinery and equipment.
  • General Experience: General experience in box build manufacturing processes.
  • Job-Related Training: Proven proficiency in a range of processes through job-related training and on-the-job experience.
  • Computer Literacy: Basic PC skills with good time management abilities.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to maintain high production standards and efficiency.
  • Team Player: Ability to actively contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • High-Tech Environment: Familiarity with working in high-technology environments.
Salary

Estimated salary £32,000 - £42,000 per annum based on location and industry standards.
