Key Responsibilities:

  • Support production teams in manufacturing activities by performing and preparing build, test, or inspection tasks before and during product manufacturing.
  • Deliver production requirements by adhering to established instructions and processes, ensuring high-quality products are delivered on time.
  • Provide electronics assembly inspection support, maintaining high production standards and efficiency.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, striving for zero defects in line with ISO9001 quality management standards.

Requirements:

  • A strong foundation in GCSE grades or equivalent in English and Maths, demonstrating excellent communication and numerical skills.
  • Proficient hand soldering skills, adhering to IPC-J-STD-001, IPC-610 & IPC-7711/7721 (Class 3), ensuring precision and accuracy in manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations to ensure safe operation of machinery and equipment, maintaining a safe working environment.
  • General experience in box build manufacturing processes, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality products.
  • Proven proficiency in a range of processes through job-related training and on-the-job experience, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to learn.
  • Basic PC skills with good time management abilities, ensuring efficient completion of tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail to maintain high production standards and efficiency, identifying and mitigating potential issues.
  • Ability to actively contribute to continuous improvement efforts, driving innovation and excellence in manufacturing practices.
  • Familiarity with working in high-technology environments, adapting to new technologies and processes.

Compensation Package: We offer a competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications, reflecting the value we place on our employees' skills and contributions.
