Business Development Manager

ER Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and driving sales growth.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and new business generation, with a consultative approach and a strong ability to build relationships with potential clients.
The role will involve attending sales appointments, working with the Head of Seminars to generate a quarterly seminar plan, and self-generating new leads and appointments through day-to-day new business activity.
The successful candidate will be driven by their ambition and results, with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to work independently.
The company offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including a guaranteed year 1 earnings of at least £60,000 and realistic year 2 earnings of £100,000 uncapped.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a field-based B2B sales role, with a proven track record of self-generating sales from scratch.
Key responsibilities of the Business Development Manager include:
- Attending sales appointments booked by the Telemarketing partner
- Working with the Head of Seminars to generate a quarterly seminar plan
- Generating and attending meetings with potential introducers and referral partners
- Self-generating new leads, appointments and referrals through day-to-day new business activity
- Achieving quarterly sales targets
- Accurately building, managing and maintaining the sales pipeline
- Managing and updating information accurately within the CRM system, using customer intelligence for planning sales meetings
