Clinical Support Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Support Specialist to join our theatre team at North Downs Hospital, Caterham. As a key member of our clinical support team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our theatres.

As a Clinical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert support to surgeons, anaesthetists, and other members of the theatre team. You will also contribute to the development and implementation of new clinical practices and procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert support to surgeons and anaesthetists during operations
  • Developing and implementing new clinical practices and procedures
  • Maintaining high standards of infection control and hygiene
  • Contributing to the efficient management of theatre resources

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • HPC registration with no restrictions or conditions
  • Experience within recovery/anaesthetics or scrub
  • Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) desirable but not essential
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
  • Flexible and positive attitude
  • A warm, considerate, and empathetic character
