Theatre Practitioner Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Theatre Practitioner to join our team at North Downs Hospital, Caterham. As a key member of our theatre department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality clinical outcomes for our patients.

As a Theatre Practitioner, you will be responsible for supporting surgical operations, providing exceptional patient care, and contributing to the efficient running of our theatre facilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting surgeons and anaesthetists during operations
  • Providing expert care to patients undergoing surgery
  • Maintaining high standards of infection control and hygiene
  • Contributing to the efficient management of theatre resources

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • HPC registration with no restrictions or conditions
  • Experience within recovery/anaesthetics or scrub
  • Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) desirable but not essential
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
  • Flexible and positive attitude
  • A warm, considerate, and empathetic character
