Learning Support Assistant Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a fantastic Barnet School. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and providing individualized support to help them achieve their full potential.

About the Role:

  • Provide one-to-one support to students with SEN, helping them to access the curriculum and overcome challenges.
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Monitor and track student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness.
  • Guide and motivate students to develop their skills and confidence.
  • Support students in developing their social and emotional skills, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.

About You:

  • You will have a strong academic background, with a First-Class or 2:1 Degree from a leading UK University.
  • You will be passionate about supporting children and have a genuine desire to make a difference in their lives.
  • You will be a team player, able to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to achieve common goals.
  • You will be committed to ongoing professional development, seeking opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
