Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Records Administrator to join our team at Spire Healthcare Ltd.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate preparation, tracking, and storage of all medical records for the hospital. This includes preparation of records prior to outpatient clinics, transportation to the relevant department, and filing once complete.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurate preparation, tracking, and storage of medical records
  • Preparation of records for outpatient, pre-assessment, and admissions clinics
  • Preparation of files for storage and archiving
  • Providing records or information on request
  • Filing, photocopying, and dealing with telephone enquiries
  • Inputting of data as required
  • Effective transportation of medical records to the relevant department
  • Filing incoming reports and correspondence into patient records

Requirements:

  • Highly organized and accurate with excellent attention to detail
  • Previous experience in a medical records department or healthcare industry
  • Proficient in the use of a PC, including Microsoft, Outlook, and Excel software
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Comfortable with the physical element of the role
  • Customer service experience

Working Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with variable shifts.
