About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Health Records Specialist to join our team at Velindre University NHS Trust. As a key member of our Health Records team, you will be responsible for providing an efficient and effective Health Records service.

Main Responsibilities

  • Liaise closely with medical secretaries, secretarial assistants, and clinic coordinators to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure routine typing is completed in date order, unless otherwise instructed by the Medical Secretarial Manager/Health Records Manager.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical information on the Welsh Clinical Portal.

Requirements

  • Advanced keyboard skills and audio typing experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
  • Ability to speak Welsh is desirable, but not essential.
