Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Radiation Physicist to lead our team in analyzing experiments, qualifying systems, and designing shields. As a key member of our organization, you will develop in-house toolsets and radiation safety justifications while managing technical projects and radiation physics work.

About the Role:

  • This is a challenging position that requires expertise in radiation transport codes MCNP, MCBEND, and Attilla.
  • You will work closely with our team to understand radiation physics and safety studies.
  • A STEM degree in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, or Nuclear Engineering is essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement radiation safety procedures.
  • Lead shield design and qualification efforts.
  • Manage technical projects related to radiation physics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, or Nuclear Engineering.
  • Proven experience with radiation transport codes.
  • Strong understanding of radiation physics and safety studies.
  • Radiation metrology experience.
  • Knowledge of ALARP principle.
