Job Title: Senior Engineering Leader

Location: Barrow-In-Furness – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements.

Salary: £80,000 + bonus & car allowance

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver reactor plant build and commissioning programmes through innovative engineering solutions and problem solving
  2. Maintain Reactor Plant design intent during the build and commissioning phases
  3. Support assessment of plant design changes
  4. Assess plant build maturity for entry into subsequent build phases
  5. Provide technically sound challenges to existing requirements
  6. Write and present reports to communicate nuclear issues to internal and external stakeholders
  7. Liaise with authorities as required to ensure technical solutions are accepted and certified
  8. Lead assessment and management of complex inter-domain or inter-function issues
  9. Approve team outputs
  10. Represent RTG and PAG
Your Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  1. Degree in Engineering or Physical Science discipline; Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear, Materials, Chemistry, Physics
  2. Nuclear industry knowledge and Nuclear Regulations
  3. Previous exposure to Engineering Lifecycle
  4. Nuclear plant experience

Desirable:

  1. Proven technical report writing skills
  2. Experience presenting to senior stakeholders
