Reinsurance Technical Account Specialist

Job Summary

Aon is seeking a highly skilled Reinsurance Technical Account Advocate to join our team in London. As a hybrid role, you will have the flexibility to work both in our office and remotely from home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical accounting support to Aon Reinsurance colleagues, clients, and reinsurers, as well as our outsource provider.
  • Assist in the production and analysis of financial results, including regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Deliver key performance indicators (KPIs) for governance committees, such as Business Unit ERM, Exec, Ops, AON UK Ltd Exco, and Board.
  • Oversight and tracking of third-party payments, funding, UCB, funds held, outstanding cash, and targeted overdue proportional quarterly treaty accounts.
  • Monitor performance of these reports and follow up/escalate as necessary to ensure Aon's working capital and free cash flow position is reducing as per targets.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks as defined and agreed upon with the Executive Accounts Advocate.
  • Work in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework and comply with Aon UK Limited policies and procedures.
  • Complete mandatory training and adopt coaching or mentoring to facilitate professional development.

Requirements

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications, with a focus on high-quality Excel skills.
  • Ability to adopt coaching and/or mentoring.
