Fresh Produce Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and vigilant individual to join our Fresh Produce department as a Fresh Produce Coordinator. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for regional offices and manage incoming queries.
- Regularly communicate with suppliers and Regional Distribution Centres regarding freshness-related enquiries.
- Update and maintain pricing information using our bespoke systems.
- Ensure stock discrepancies are managed through our ordering system.
- Liaise with Head Office in Germany and other internal departments.
- Deal with quality issues as they arise.
- Investigate invoice discrepancies and perform ad-hoc administrative tasks.
- Work on a rotation basis to support and monitor the weekend F&V process.
Requirements
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong Word and Excel skills with a genuine interest in working with numbers.
- A confident 'can-do' attitude and enthusiasm for working in a deadline-driven team environment.
- Professional telephone manner and ability to remain polite while being assertive.
- Outstanding eye for detail.
- Experience working in a fast-paced role.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines.
- Flexibility to work weekends.
