Health and Safety Director

A highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Manager is required to join our client's team in Aylesbury. The successful candidate will have a strong background in health and safety management, with a NEBOSH Diploma qualification and experience in managing health and safety in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures. They will also have a strong understanding of quality management systems and environmental management systems, with experience in auditing and reporting.
The role will involve conducting risk assessments, developing action plans, and managing training programs. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and regulations, and for maintaining accurate records and reports.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk assessments and develop action plans to mitigate risks
- Manage training programs and ensure compliance with health and safety legislation

- Ensure quality management systems and environmental management systems are maintained to ISO standards
- Manage audits and reporting
Requirements:
- NEBOSH Diploma qualification or equivalent
- Experience in managing health and safety in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and environmental management systems
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
