Health and Safety Director

A highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Manager is required to join our client's team in Aylesbury. The successful candidate will have a strong background in health and safety management, with a NEBOSH Diploma qualification and experience in managing health and safety in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures. They will also have a strong understanding of quality management systems and environmental management systems, and be able to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
The role will involve conducting risk assessments, audits, and investigations, as well as managing training and reports on health and safety performance. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring that quality management systems and environmental management systems are maintained to ISO standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, and investigations to identify and mitigate health and safety risks.
- Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures.
- Manage training and reports on health and safety performance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Maintain quality management systems and environmental management systems to ISO standards.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH Diploma qualification or equivalent.
- Experience in managing health and safety in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and environmental management systems.
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
