Job Title: Health and Safety Director

A highly experienced and qualified Health and Safety Director is required to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health and safety across the organization.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Health and Safety professional to take on a leadership role and drive the company's health and safety agenda forward. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and safety management, with experience in managing teams and implementing health and safety policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.
  2. Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  3. Manage and coordinate health and safety training programs for employees.
  4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure health and safety is integrated into all aspects of the business.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and industry associations.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent level health and safety qualification.
  2. Proven experience in health and safety management, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  3. Strong leadership and communication skills.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Full UK driving license and own vehicle.
