Health and Safety Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our team at FCC Environment. As a key member of our Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSE&Q) department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of our employees, contractors, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice and guidance on health and safety matters to managers and supervisors across the organization.
- Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with statutory obligations.
- Conduct regular health and safety inspections and audits to identify and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with area managers, operational managers, supervisors, safety representatives, and employees to develop and implement health and safety initiatives.
- Participate in the development and implementation of a health and safety plan to reduce risks and accidents.
- Provide training and support to employees on health and safety matters.
- Liaise with external regulatory authorities, including the Health and Safety Executive, Fire Service, and Police.
