Health and Safety Director

A highly experienced and qualified Health and Safety Director is required to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health and safety across the organization.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Health and Safety professional to take on a leadership role and drive the company's health and safety agenda forward. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and safety management, with experience in the manufacturing, engineering, or construction industries.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety best practices and ensure that all employees are aware of their responsibilities.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that health and safety is integrated into all aspects of the business.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and industry associations to stay up-to-date with the latest health and safety developments.
- NEBOSH Diploma qualification or equivalent level health and safety qualification.
- Proven experience in a health and safety management role, preferably in the manufacturing, engineering, or construction industries.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle, as regular travel to remote sites is required.
