Health and Safety Director

A highly experienced and qualified Health and Safety professional is required to join our client's team as a Group Health and Safety Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental management across the organization.
About the Role:The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health, safety, and environmental management, with a proven track record of implementing and maintaining effective HSEQ systems. They will be responsible for conducting risk assessments, audits, and investigations, as well as managing training and reporting on HSEQ performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective HSEQ policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Manage training programs to ensure all employees are aware of their HSEQ responsibilities.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with regulatory bodies and other stakeholders.
- NEBOSH Diploma qualification or equivalent level health and safety qualification.
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
