Health and Safety Manager

A NEBOSH Diploma qualified Health and Safety Manager is required for our market leading, award winning international engineering client based in the UK.

This exciting Health Safety Quality Environmental role would be a great career opportunity for an experienced SHEQ manager to further develop their Health and Safety career long term in a stable rewarding company that champions best practice and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have good hands on experience of implementing, maintaining, managing and developing HSEQ management systems and ISO standards directly within a manufacturing, production, construction, hire plant, machinery industry or similar.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain HSEQ management systems and ISO standards
  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety procedures
  • Monitor and report on health and safety performance

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH Diploma qualification
  • Good hands on experience of implementing, maintaining, managing and developing HSEQ management systems and ISO standards
  • Proven track record of improving health and safety performance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
