About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Elderly Virtual Ward team as a Clinical Team Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a clinical team, delegating work to staff, and supporting the development of nurse-led initiatives.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a clinical team, delegating work to staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Support the development of nurse-led initiatives and develop seamless and integrated care pathways between acute wards and primary care.
  • Act as a role model for staff within the EVW service and provide supervisory responsibility for Nursing/therapy, support, and administration staff.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with a 1st-level degree and current NMC registration.
  • Extensive post-registration experience in a relevant clinical specialty, including experience of working with the elderly.
  • Substantial experience of service improvement and design, with evidence of leading others and relevant training in leadership and management skills.
