Therapeutic Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled children's psychotherapist to join our Health and Wellbeing Team at Wilderness Way. The successful candidate will provide one-on-one and group therapy to children, tailoring interventions to meet their unique needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapeutic support to children in a counselling or psychological capacity.
- Work closely with carers, families, and the Health and Wellbeing Team to create and implement personalised support strategies.
- Help teams understand children's behaviours, offering insight and training to enhance their practice.
- Develop therapeutic plans and reports that make a tangible difference in children's lives.
- Operate flexibly, with time spent at our Penrith Head Office, in children's homes, and occasionally working from home.
- Travel across Cumbria regularly to connect with children and care teams.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Substantial experience working directly with children in a counselling or psychological capacity.
- A UKCP/BACP registration and a Level 4 (or higher) counselling qualification.
- A valid UK driving licence and access to your own transport.
