Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Children's Therapist to join our Health and Wellbeing Team. As a key member of the team, you will provide direct therapeutic support to children and adolescents affected by trauma, working closely with carers and family members to develop individualised plans of care. You will also deliver therapeutic training to our teams and share your observations to inform strategies and interventions.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide one-to-one and group therapeutic sessions to children and adolescents
* Develop and implement individualised plans of care in collaboration with carers and family members
* Deliver therapeutic training to our teams on trauma-responsive practice
* Share observations and insights to inform strategies and interventions
* Utilise outdoor spaces and facilities to engage and inspire children

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Substantial experience working directly with children in a psychology or counselling capacity
* UKCP/BACP registration and qualification in counselling (Level 4 or above)
* Excellent knowledge of trauma and attachment theories
* Good understanding of legislation and regulations surrounding residential childcare
* Excellent safeguarding skills
* Ability to work independently and manage tight deadlines
* Proficient IT and record-keeping skills
* Full, valid UK driving licence and access to own transport
