Job Description Summary

A Wilderness Way Limited seeks an experienced Residential Psychotherapist to join its Health and Wellbeing Team. The successful candidate will provide direct therapeutic support to children affected by trauma, working in a trauma-responsive way to address emotional and behavioural challenges.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide one-to-one and group therapy sessions, tailoring interventions to individual child needs.
  2. Collaborate with carers and family members to develop effective support strategies.
  3. Work closely with the Health and Wellbeing Team to deliver therapeutic training and share observations to inform team practice.
  4. Formulate plans of support and care for each child, incorporating assessments and reports.
  5. Utilise outdoor spaces to engage and inspire children.
