Licenses and Agreements Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Licenses and Agreements Specialist to drive our company's commercial success. As a key member of the Be-IT Ltd team, you will play a vital role in shaping our business strategies through expert legal advice and negotiation skills.

About the Role:
  • Negotiate and draft intellectual property, software, and technology licenses with internal stakeholders.
  • Draft collaboration and partnership agreements, ensuring effective IP risk management.
  • Collaborate on commercial and sourcing agreements with cross-functional teams.
  • Apply legal and business acumen to proposed deals, relationships, and issues requiring attention.
  • Develop legal processes and templates for new business models, including AI-driven approaches.
  • Advise on open-source software (OSS) matters and ensure software compliance with OSS policy.
  • Provide legal training to product, research, and software teams to identify potential risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Solid knowledge of intellectual property law, patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
  • Experience in handling software legal matters, including licenses, OSS, EULAs, evaluation, SaaS, and development agreements.
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills, with ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Significant experience working in a corporate legal department or large law firm.

Requirements:
